Kreider average is $2.45 and Zucc signed for $3.5. I don't know why this means Brassard must get dealt unless they don't want to pay his asking price. But what can you really get for a 2C/3C who is restricted, unsigned, and wants $5.5M?

Zucc got 3.5 yesterday. Rangers wont trade Brass unless another Center comes back. Rangers depth thin at center

In terms of WPG, likely back to the Kane rumors, but at $5.250 mil for next four years that is not a savings in terms of cap. Plus, when you factor in other issues, unsure that's a wise move. Ladd is unlikely to be moved and you would have no second line center and doubt Scheifele is available.

In Montrel, who are you getting Plekanec or Desharnais? Is that an upgrade? Plekanec at $5 mil next two years while Desh is at $3.5 mil for next three eyars, so maybe him, but is that an upgrade or lateral move for NY based on Brass' chemistry with Zucc? No way Montreal deals Galchenyuk, so cross that name off the list.

Brassard wants almost 6. anything over Zuc's 3.5 is ridiculous. you may have 6, but you always like to keep some space for deadline rainy days.
